The Heine family has come for a Sunday afternoon visit and frolic in the cool waters. It’s late August 2009. Lachlan,
Holly’s brother, is off catching crayfish with some boys he’s met on the dock. They’re in training as hunter-gatherers,
a rite of passage to which most boys aspire. I’m still perfecting the techniques myself. While Lachlan is occupied,
