Most of us know this look. Either as a parent, as a child, or both. Sarah, my youngest daughter, age three here,
has just finished her post-daycare afternoon snack. She wants to get moving ... so many interesting things to
do when you’re this age and the world is brand new. But the rules are: finish your milk first. With the late-afternoon
sun streaming through the kitchen window, she sits and drinks the milk as fast as she can. All the time her stare
is fixed, waiting for me to     intervene and say, “Okay, that’s enough.”   Mark Heine
