Here’s Tamzen. She’s a friend of my youngest daughter, Sarah. They’re both age 10.
We’re down on the Oak Bay waterfront on a crisp fall afternoon in Victoria, BC.
The girls are playing along the shoreline and trying to ignore me as I snap photos in
that golden hour of light, just before sunset. Tamzen has quite a quirky, playful
character, as you can see here. At 10 years old, the girls are beginning to experiment
with teen attitude, and Tamzen is a real ‘peace’ of work.   Mark Heine
